Hello & Welcome!
I’m Angela De Angelis—though most people know me as Ange 🩶
Art has always been my passion. From the moment I picked up a crayon, I’ve been captivated by how lines and colours can speak when words can’t.
Growing up in a home always filled with family and friends, I found peace in sketching while the world buzzed around me. It was comforting to have those I loved nearby while I slipped into my own world — letting whatever was inside flow through my fingers onto the paper.
My journey with art continues to evolve — a story I’d love to share with you.

Art as Gifts
This painting was a personal gift for my beautiful aunt’s 80th birthday. Fashion has always been her passion—designing elegant dresses, patterns, and styles with a natural talent that inspired me from a young age. To honour her creativity and the beauty she brings into the world, I wanted to create something just as special for her milestone celebration.
The artwork brings together elements that reflect her spirit and style: a Robert Piguet dress designed the year she was born, her favourite colour green, and the flowers she loves most—Lily of the Valley and full-petal roses.
Art is a beautiful way to capture the essence of someone, someplace, or something you love. It can also become a deeply personal gift—one that holds meaning long after the moment has passed. Travel & Memory
I love traveling and experiencing the cultures, traditions, architecture, landscapes, food, and unique energy of each place I visit. Paris, of course, is one of my forever favourites—every trip leaves me falling in love all over again. There’s truly something magical about the City of Light.
While I take photos to preserve those memories, I’m equally drawn to the surreal, abstract, and playful side of art—the kind that captures the feeling of a place rather than just the image. This painting marks the beginning of a new travel-inspired series, where I explore merging photography with art that reflects the essence of each place. My goal is to express the culture, essence, memories, and emotional resonance of each destination in a single piece.
The image shown here is a snippet of my painting “There’s Something About Paris.” In it, I’ve integrated photos from my first trip in 2007 with sketches, paint, and text. Every time I look at it, I’m transported back to that moment of wonder—gasping in awe at every corner I turned.
